Hello

We really hope you have a lovely time at the house. However, there are two areas we would appreciate your asistance if possible. Rubbish and recyling management and the plunge pool.

Rubbish and recycling

At the house

Below the kitchen sink there is a small (20L) rubbish bin, for kitchen and general waste. We leave several more bags for this bin below the sink. Once full please place these bags in the large general waste bin. Outside the house on the porch on the right of the house (when looking at it). We have 3 bins there.

Bin 1: General waste from the kitchen or the bathroom bins, in 20L bags
Bin 2: All recycling. This is not separated in our region
Bin 3: Glass. A smaller round bin

When departing

We would very much appreciate if guests could dispose of their general waste and recycling before departure.

General rubbish disposal (black bin bag)
A card is used to open the electronic bin. We have left the card in the house for you to use (see image).

General recycling:
This is free to use and the three bins are placed next to each other at the recycling point (see map below)

The nearest rubbish collection point is in Camplong, a short walk or drive from the house.

The Swimming Pool

Suncream: Suncream can cause issues with pool water, affecting the filter and clouding the pool. Please use sparingly when using the pool.

Depth: It is shallow (80cm), please do not jump or dive into the pool, you could hurt youselves and others.

Alarm: We do not activate it for adult guests unless requested. If you have children please ask us to activate it if you wish.

Eating and drinking: Please use only the plastic cups when near or in the pool (they are below the microwave). Please do not eat in the pool.

Cleaning: The pool will be cleaned before you arrive. For short stays we generally won’t clean again, however if due to wind debris or insects its dirty, please let us know.

Heating: It is not heated. In summer it can reach 30c. Please place the bubble cover on overnight it helps maintain the temperature and keeps debris out.
